Bitspower Pump cooler for DDC MCP355 thermal pad question

Hello, when installing the Bitspower Pump cooler for DDC MCP355 on the DDC pump, do I need to leave out the circle thermal pad? The instructions are unclear whether it should be left in or out.

Yes, when installing the Bitspower Pump cooler for DDC MCP355 on the DDC pump, please leave out the circle thermal pad.
You can see the center of the thermal pad is blank in the DDC pump cooler picture.
